How do I register/add my profile/my info?
Click the link ‘Register’
- The form to add your profile will be displayed. Give your details, including your contact details in full. This will increase the chances of your profile being displayed when our members search for matches.
- Give all the necessary information as well as optional details asked in the form.
- During the Registration your E-Mail ID is important. Your E-Mail should be Valid/Active and you should be checking the E-mail regularly. Click on submit button.
- After you submit your information, your profile will be automatically created and you shall be generated a "Matrimony ID and Password” for future references.
Note:· After successful Registration your Profile status will be ‘INACTIVE’. All the profiles are validated before inclusion in the site. It may take up to 24 – 48 hours for the validation. After Admin checked your Profile will be added and status as a “FREE MEMBER” and confirmation E-mail would be send to you. · Your Matrimony ID would be … like CM5000….. Since it is auto generated by database server. You can not change/modify/edit for future
Could I register profile for my brother/sister/cousin or friend/sibling?
Yes! You can register the Profile for your brother/sister/cousin or friend/sibling and etc.
What should I enter in the profile description field?
Try to give a clear self-description and enter your expectations clearly and completely. A good description will always fetch instant responses. It should be clear, brief and has all the important details in a well-organized manner.
What are the DO’s and Don’ts while creating a matrimonial profile?
While creating a matrimonial profile, give brief information about yourself in the profile description part. Try your best to touch upon various aspects of your life like
- Your personality (what kind of a person you are, your likes and dislikes)
- Your educational and professional background and achievements.
- Your family (how many members, family values - conservative or modern).
- Your career plans
- Your expectations from a soul-mate
- Please do not give a lengthy description. Try to keep your description short and complete and do not get into the minutest details.
- Please do not try to display your contact details in your matrimonial profile, except in the space provided for contact details.
- Do not include content that is vulgar or racist.
What information would be displayed to other members from my profile?
All fields except your e-mail address, contact address and telephone number will be displayed to free/paid members.
I'm registering for my sister/brother and me. Can we both have the same Matrimony ID?
A matrimony id identifies each person uniquely. Please register separate profiles for you and your sibling.
How do I modify/update my profile?
To modify/update your profile contents,
- Click the link ‘My account/ Member login/ Login’
- Login using your "Matrimony ID" and "Password"
- Under the left navigation in member control panel, Click on the "Modify Profile/ Update my Profile” option.
- You can modify/update the profile contents that are displayed and confirm it by Clicking on the "Modify Profile" button.
2. I forgot my Matrimony ID / Password. What should I do?
Click on the "Forgot Password" link in the home page and enter your "E-mail ID"
Then your "Matrimony ID" and "Password" will be mailed to you immediately. Your Email address should be the one given in your profile.
How do I change/modify my password ?
- Click the link ‘My account/ Member login/ Login’
- Login using your "Matrimony / Email ID" and "Password"
- Under "Profiles" section in the left navigation, Click on "Change Password".
- Enter your old password.
- Enter your new password and confirm the same. Click on "Change Password" button.
- Your new password will be immediately activated. Please use the new password the next time you login.
4. Why am I not able to login or why is the message "Invalid Matrimony Id / or Incorrect Password" being displayed?
- The password you have entered might be wrong. Alternatively you might be having the
CAPS LOCK "On". Please check whether the password is entered in the correct case (Upper or Lower)
- Please ensure that there are no spaces in the Matrimony ID typed. For e.g., it should be CM5001 not C M 5000
- If you have forgotten your password, please click on the "Forgot Password" link to retrieve the same.
- You CANNOT Login until your Profile is released from INACTIVE Status.
How do I delete/remove my profile?
To delete your profile:
- Click the link ‘My account/ Member login/ Login’
- Login using your "Matrimony ID" and "Password".
- Select the "Delete Profile/ Remove Profile " option under left navigation and enter the reason for deletion.
- Click on the "Yes" button. Your profile will be deleted immediately.
Please note that profiles once deleted cannot be restored or reactivated.
Is it possible to restore the deleted profile?
Your profile once deleted from our database cannot be restored/reactivated.
How can I search for suitable profiles?
There are five different methods to search for profiles:
- Quick search
- Search Profile by ID
- Advanced search
- Search Profile by Country
What is quick search?
New to our site? Then quick search is the ideal search option for you. Under the Quick Search option, enter the age limit and select your relevant Religion also choose to search for profiles with and without photos. You will get a list of profiles that match your preferences.
What is advanced search?
Advanced Search is designed to cover every aspect of your search criteria and this will deliver profiles matching your specific criteria. Advanced Search has additional options of searching for profiles using Gender, Age, Religion, Cast, Language search on the basis of residing country to further bring profiles closest to your expectations.
What is Search Profile by ID ?
Enter the matrimony ID of the profile, and click on the "View Matrimony" button. The profile details will be displayed.
I get the error "No search results found" while searching for the profiles. Why is that so?
Please check your search criteria. If you are searching for a particular Caste, try reselecting your criteria.

What is FREE MEMBERSHIP or FREE MEMBER?
A free membership is ideal for starters. As a free member, you can
- Post your profile
- Modify/update your profile
- Search profiles
- Add/Protect your photo/Horoscope
You can not contact/send/receive messages to other members. You can not reply to their messages. The messages sent by Paid member will be stored in your "Received Messages" folder in your "Matrimony account" directly along with their e-mail address and other contact information after upgrade your membership from Free member to Paid member then you can login to your account to check the received messages.
What is PAID MEMBERSHIP or PAID MEMBER?
As a Paid member, you can
- Post your profile
- Modify/update your profile
- Search profiles
- Add/Protect your photo/Horoscope
- Receive mails
- Send/Receive Personalized messages
- Upgrade to Featured Member
Paid member can contact/send/receive messages from other members and also reply to their messages.
What is FEATURED MEMBER?
As a Paid member with Photo, you are eligible to upgrade as a Featured member.As a Featured member, Your Profile will be displayed on the Home page to get 100 times more responses from site viewers. Note:Once Paid member make a payment to upgrade a Featured member, then Paid member are eligible to act as Featured member. |
